The Bible says that a nation built on God, stands. Read about NINEVAH. The nation was warned to turn back to God or they would be destroyed by their enemies. I think God will pour out his wrath if this nation doesn’t turn back to what we were built on - that cornerstone being Jesus. I think the warnings are around us.

You can t go wrong with KJV or NIV. It’s always nice to have a few to compare. Just don’t try to box the word of God to mean one thing. There are so many dimensions to what each scripture means. That’s because it’s how God trues to talk to you and isnwhy Jesus hated when ppl argued over scripture interpretation. Jesus resides with in you. It’s some personal to you. We are all at different stages of our walk so we can’t narrow it down to one meaning.
