Perhaps the govt WANTS to make it worse - as an excuse for further tyranny
>>"Protests in Paris over rising fuel costs"
Given the impressive bonfires, I suppose the cost of flammable materials will be rising soon.
>>so far it's looked like the cops are under strict orders to not kill or otherwise brutalize the protesters.
An anon already posted screencaps of a yellow-vest man being beaten by police.
>>French people voted him in (assuming no election fraud)
There was much muttering abut election irregularities. I'm not convinced that the will of the actual, lawful, living, human French people (as opposed to dead people, asylees, multiple-voting pawns, etc.) was allowed to be reflected in the vote totals.
Amazon busts a strike by hiring more workers…
so much for limousine liberals loving labor unions and "the workers."
>>and the purpose of making these massive bonfires is…?
-
To dry out the people who were hosed down by the fire hoses;
-
To create a warm and dry area where the protesters can sleep for the night;
-
To create light so the night watch people can see what the police are doing…
Pretty much why people have been lighting fires since we knew how to light them, millennia ago.
