I know this picture is hard to see. But you see, Mark 4:15 is an internal reality, for everyone. There is YOU as a person, there is Satan who enters ALL hearts to deceive, and there is Jesus in the MIDST OF US, in His temples, standing BETWEEN these TWO parties, man and devil.
What did Jesus do during His Ministry while in the flesh? He separated mankind from devils. He will DO THE SAME at the end of their world, the devil's world.
Even at the end of His Discourse in Matt. 25, Jesus tells us clearly, openly WHO gets sent to the flames of ETERNAL HELL:

We have all been led to shun these Words of His in fear, when we should actually WELCOME these Words, personally.
Hard place to go because internal resistance IS REAL, but that's where we are ALL heading.

Jesus laid down essential principles to work our way through His Words, line by line, precept upon precept.
After His baptism, Jesus was "led" by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the DEVIL.
Yeah, we are hearing that right. The Spirit LED Jesus, to be tempted. To confront the tempter.
IF we are tracking the message, we will have likewise and be led, likewise.
The first Divine Strike of Gods Words unto the devil, Satan, the tempter, was this:
4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.
We might consider the gravity of this scriptural fact. Jesus did not cast away all the curse Words of God to man. Jesus did not cast away all the wrath and Divine Retribution Words of God to man. He did not cast away the Words, any Words, not a single Word of God AWAY from MAN.
Yet, in this statement, Jesus puts LIFE to MAN upon every Word.
This is a hard thing to understand. We as believers are ALL initially led into the false dilemma of only taking the GOOD and PLEASANT Words of God unto ourselves, and putting all the BAD and DIFFICULT wrath and curse Words of God unto "some other people." Anyone will do, except to put such Words upon our own SELVES. To walk in this way, to heap up only the Good and Pleasant Words to ourselves is to follow a deception, and a lie. Yet nearly every believer follows in this way. A few might even have an occasional stop by the other side of the ledgers, they repent, confess, and then move on to only the GOOD and PLEASANT Words of God. Again, a deception.
It is a hard thing to understand that TWO FACTS, completely opposite of each other can both be fully TRUE and fully APPLICABLE.
For example, every sin can be and is forgiven unto MAN. Yet, at the same time, every Word against sin and Divine Retributions to MAN remains FULLY TRUE and APPLICABLE to the same man.
We can't rest on ONLY one side of the ledgers is the basic lesson from Jesus. And, if we are not hearing LIFE in the bad Words of God, we are again, not listening. There is LIFE in the BAD WORDS of God also.
We should rather rejoice in the BAD WORDS of God. We should be GLAD that God in Christ is against evil and sin. We should be GLAD that God is Just, even if those Words are (falsely perceived) to be to our detriment, because these Words are NOT to our detriment. Sin and evil are to our detriment, and Gods Words being against every sin and every evil is right, and just. Even these Words are for OUR LIFE.
But if we run and hide from them, if we "cover up" and "excuse" the facts of our own sin and evil, we are being led in deceptions.
Sin is of the Devil. Satan IS evil. And Satan has influences over and within every MAN.
So who is the enemy in these equations? Is it only MAN being addressed? No. The scriptures engage Satan and devils IN man. And these entities, these influencers and influences of sin and evil in man ARE NOT and NEVER WILL BE FORGIVEN.
Learn the basic lessons. Great. But also understand that simultaneously, on the other side of the coin, we all bear, in our own flesh, the DENIAL of "every Word" being applicable to ourselves. And this largely because we fail to perceive the internal influences of the ENEMY(s) of God in our own SELVES.
The Word IS meant to comfort MAN.
The Word is also meant to discomfort the enemies that infest us all, internally.
How many times have we ran to the Lord with all our troubles, and then been led into the deception to only seek out the GOOD WORDS of God, and lay them all upon our selves, while we openly IGNORED Gods Bad Words? It happens all the time.
The facts will remain that ALL of Gods Words apply to MAN. And beneath this, we should see, that man in the scripture is not JUST MAN. Man, every MAN, has the internal influences of sin, evil and the devil. If we deny this, it is only our internal ENEMY(s) who deny.
When we see that the BAD WORDS of God ARE for the damnation of our own internal enemy(s), we should, rather, REJOICE and ACCEPT these Words also, because they are ALSO TRUE AND RIGHT and LIFE unto US all.
Yes, hard place to go. But well worth the price of admission.
You want Gods Divine Judgement? Good! Then apply to SELF. Gods Words are meant for comfort, and Gods Words are meant simultaneously for discomfort.

True, except for your add on of "my perspective." Jesus told us this DOES happen in Mark 4:15 and the related scriptural accounts to that narrative. Judas was another example of the same thing. There is no condemnation to MAN, but the very rightful condemnation of devils upon man by God in Christ REMAINS IN FORCE, even after we are "saved."
The evil present within Paul, and the sin indwelling his own flesh (Romans 7:17-21) was not blessed, was not cooperative with God, was not "saved," was not "in faith" nor were any number of other good, pleasant and comforting conveyances of God in Christ applicable in any way to that internal alien evil presence.
Therefore Paul KNEW that God can and does deal with that internal fact of all of us who believe quite differently, and we are in fact entirely at His Mercy in these matters.

There ARE very sound reasons to FEAR THE LORD and to understand His Terror and Might in Adverse Judgments, PERSONALLY. And this, of course, is only the beginning of Divine Wisdom's conveyances. Only part of us is entitled to comfort and the love of God in Christ. The flesh, because of it's present condition, remains adverse to God in Christ. Gal. 5;19. This fact also wipes out any notions of "following the law" to obtain our salvation, which Paul makes very clear.
I will give you credit for at least perceiving at this point. One of few at this board. Go read Romans 9:18-24 and 2 Tim. 2:20-21 with this reality internal condition in mind, and you may see better. You may also see the same things in Romans 11:8, 2 Cor. 3:19, etc. These are all directly related statements to the facts of Mark 4:15. It's entirely obvious again in 1 John 3:8, and of course the works of Satan are addressed to all 7 churches of Rev. 2-3.
We serve God in Christ in Spirit and also, importantly, in TRUTH. Truth encompasses the facts of our condition in the flesh. And the truth is, regarding the presence of evil and indwelling sin, WE ARE NO BETTER than anyone else. Romans 3:9.
This forces us out of being high minded and puts us in the cross hairs of Gods Mercy in Christ, as His captives, and the legitimate fear of the Lord should be upon us, not just lip service to fear.

There will be NO EXCEPTIONS before His Overwhelming Glory. NONE, no NOT ONE.
Look up nearly any word in the scriptures in Strongs concordance and there will be several possible meanings, just as there are in any language for any particular term. Ask B. Clinton the meaning of "is" for example.
Was Jesus hung on wood? Uh, yeah, in the form of a cross, specifically. One part facing up, vertically, and the other crossed, horizontally.
There is much significance in the construct. Part of us returns to God at death, and part of us stays behind, stuck on earth, blocked, this latter not being, us, as God's children.
The men who nailed Jesus to the "CROSS" were forgiven, even as they pounded the stakes through His flesh because they were slaves of internal darkness, Acts 26:18, 2 Cor. 4:4, Eph. 2:2, specifically the darkness within these men pinned His hands and feet.
The big HOWEVER that readers fail to see is that those who "really" killed Jesus, were UNSEEN agents of spiritual darkness, and are still upon the earth:

The Eyes of God see us, and sees our internal darkness, at all times. He teaches us to disassociate from our darkness, learning it is NOT us, but that which enslaves us, particularly when we do not perceive it upon ourselves.

Names and locations for example bear much significance if Word students have interests in studies of associations-allegories-parables and similitude's, which I do.
In fact every jot and tittle, as Jesus noted, is important.
It's quite fascinating and very engaging.

Some try to cheerlead themselves by the scriptures into only being the positive, the blessed, the anointed, the chosen, the predestined, the beloved of God in Christ.

The reality is, for all of us, that we are ALL comprised of both good and evil, internally. Of this there is no doubt. The evidence is openly revealed before everyone, even without "scripture."
Who then is the honest one, who comes before our God, knowing their internal state, not seeking to HIDE the evil present within them?
Do we think our God does not SEE everything?
It was in fact GOD who made us in this condition, that He would show His Mercy upon us all.
IF God desires Mercy, then He likewise raises up our evil, to show us our NEED for His Sole Demonstrations of same.
Psalm 78:49
He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.
Yes, it is God who does that.
He has "subjected us" to these things, here in this HELL in/on the earth. IF anything, we may expect the volume of evil to be turned UP, that all would see the internal facts of our own conditions in the flesh. We can not escape it. But we CAN look honestly upon our own selves. To understand our afflictions, our chastisements, our NEEDS. And from this perhaps HOPE does arise for a "release" from this condition, not only for ourselves, but for all of creation. This is the HOPE of the Gospel. Romans 8. The "redemption" of the VILE BODY via putting OFF of the temporal things, and being "clothed" with His Righteousness, which is not YET put on, in full. This is what we are "drawn into." But not all of us, of what we are is so drawn. That part which is dishonor, corruption, indwelling sin, weakness, evil present, is NOT drawn, but does actively RESIST, in the ALL.
Galatians 5:5
For we through the Spirit wait for the hope of righteousness by faith.
There is no hope, in the flesh, for the flesh. It is unquestionably failing and passes away, for the temporal reality that it is. A wet dust pile with indwelling sin and evil present therein, period. No escaping the conclusion.
We can "hope" in Q et al to bring justice to the evil of "the other people," but that is NOT the quest of the Gospel, to wreak "justice" upon the other people.
Divine Justice will fall upon our own sorry hides, FIRST, in the order of the Gospel. And it falls first upon the HONEST, those called to see themselves, as they really are, within.
Most openly SHUN the dire Words of God, and run away from them as fast as they can, seeking to vaunt same only upon others. Expressed in the most vile hatred of other "sinners," to burn them alive in hell forever while simultaneously open EXCUSING their own sin, like the typical sorry religious HYPOCRITES.
Yet we know from Jesus, that man shall LIVE, by every Word of God, even the BAD ONES. Matt. 4:4, Luke 4:4.
We should expect Divine Justice to hit us, first, and perhaps some would even see the cause of same within themselves and WELCOME the BAD WORDS, as these are meant to destroy evil, sin and death, which we ourselves do bear, in our own flesh.
In Divine Judgment House, there is no place to hide, and blaming the "other people" will do no good, at all. We are NO BETTER than anyone else. Romans 3:9. YOU may think yourself better than the satanic baby killers, but IF you condemn other sinners, you're wasting your breath. We are all equally guilty in the Eyes of God.

Any person called of God in Christ and inspired to understand by the Holy Spirit can arrive at the same conclusions of the New Testament Gospels and the findings of the Apostles, with the understanding of more LIFE Light from the Words of Jesus' and His Apostles.
But AS/LIKE any person's engagements with the scriptures, the foibles of our own hearts are also revealed in such undertakings, because of the realities of evil present and indwelling sin within every reader, which the New Testament "sources" as an alien/unseen stranger present within the ALL. Which is what makes the scriptures so utterly fascinating.

When scripture speaks, it does not address only mankind. There is an active resistance presence to God's Words within the ALL that is not them. Quite active. Scriptures convey this alien internal presence as a wicked one (and his own) who are NOT MANKIND. Learn to DIVIDE yourself on others on this critical disclosure and you'll NEVER see the same old ways, again.
The DIVINE HEAT is being continually amplified in the "world." Again, openly evidenced.
A believer is called to understand this basic principle of Mark 4:15, apply the information unto their own sorry hides and ACTIVELY RESIST every thought that amplifies or resists God in Christ.
The churches fell away quite long ago from applying this basic understanding to our own evil present and indwelling sin in favor of coverups and misdirecting, for example, the eternal damnation scriptures and applying them to our neighbors, rather than ourselves or more accurately, that alien/stranger presence within our own fleshly MINDS. And rather than loving ALL our neighbors as ourselves, we falsely commit them to burn alive forever and again falsely EXONERATE ourselves. And a HYPOCRITE is then revealed as upon us and in control.
The classic misdirect of SATAN and his own.'' Satan's own meaning again, DEVILS, ''not mankind.'
Look upon any person through the Eyes of God, and if seeing accurately by the enlightenment of God in Christ, more than "just man alone" will appear before your own eyes, withIN your own head. Being "double minded" is you seeing this internal activity as only YOUR SELF. It's NOT.
The balance remain in lock down, in Satan's prison, withIN. This is the hardest red pill to ingest.
A simple test of these internal realities is in Romans 7:7-13 wherein Paul sources his own internal adverse to the LAW thoughts as being INTERNAL, and not of himself, NOR could he stop it from happening.
Jesus told us EVIL COMES FROM WITHIN, via EVIL THOUGHTS, and does so in active resistance to the Laws, the Words of God. And this is NOT optional to anyone. It's an internal reality for everyone, and on this basis the WORLD IS GUILTY, PERIOD. Everyone, every person, every tongue. But can you look closer and see WHY? Only God in Christ can shed that INTERNAL LIGHT.
A believer learns not to trust their own thoughts, because of this internal reality, and instead at least part of us casts our cares upon our Lord, who understands our internal infirmities aka TEMPTATIONS.
Hebrews 4:15
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.
To WIN in Christianity is to accept the DEFEAT of the flesh, because of it's condition, with indwelling sin and evil present.

And not just in their instances. NOT to say they weren't real people with real lives and real engagements of various sorts, but the ENTIRETY of their lives is ALLEGORY, inclusive of the LAW, which is SPIRITUAL.
The Law can not be understood as literal.
Paul in 2 Cor. 9 takes a rather obscure law of the Old Testament and turns it entirely on it's head via ALLEGORY, and his "as it is written" summation of that LAW exists nowhere in the O.T. as Paul claimed. But IF we understand ALLEGORY, then yes, it does indeed say as Paul describes that LAW.
9 For it is written in the law of Moses, thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen?
10 Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.
The real question IS, how did he get there? For this we turn to the Spirit to teach us "associations" that are deployed in allegories and parables. It's a lifetime of study and makes the law and the prophets totally fascinating, but NOT in the literal senses.
Jesus told us how THE LAW works and what it contains. The LAW for example prompts EVIL THOUGHTS, within the reader, in adverse reactions to the LAW:
Matthew 15:
19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:
20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.
Yeah, we read that correctly: Evil thoughts prompted by indwelling sin and evil present with us DEFILE us all. Romans 7:7-13, Romans 7:17-21, Romans 7:25 as examples Paul gave for himself.
It is not only unlikely, but IMPOSSIBLE, that "evil present and indwelling sin" OBEYS the LAW, either literal or spiritual.
Automatic ROBOTIC resistance to God's Words inclusive of LAW happen within everyone.
For that we have to see WHY this is so, and Mark 4:15 nails it cold on the head, as does 1 John 3:8 for examples.
Paul transcribed ANY COMMAND of the LAW as thus: To love our neighbors as ourselves. Romans 13:8-10.
Paul calls US as believers to PUT OFF WORKS of darkness. Darkness LIES about our conditions of indwelling sin and evil present, and even claims to "follow the LAW."
Never happened.
The path of sin is 3 fold. First, evil thoughts against the law that DEFILE US, then followed by evil words and in summation, evil external deeds. But everyone hits the first MARK, period.
Though I love EVERY WORD OF GOD and His Christ, I would not be extending that LOVE to my own indwelling sin and evil present, because I know these things work in opposition to GOD, always, at all times.
So when you hear anyone claiming THEY follow the LAW, they are only kidding themselves and are not able to come to grips with their own internal reality.
And this results in all kinds of utter nonsense about THE LAW.
For example, anywhere THE WORD is lifted up, what do we find? Never ending disputes.

The fact of disputes is that they are all sourced in THE DEVIL, Satan. It's not even the people who are arguing. It's their evil present which is not even them.
The DEVIL is the internal source of every LIE and DECEPTION.
If you get that much, you'll travel a long ways to understand THE LAW, which Satan resists, IN MAN. Mark 4:15. And does so by various predictable means.
For every claimed "law follower," for them to claim their own evil present and indwelling sin follows the LAW is completely LAUGHABLE and an open LIE. They think that because they do not murder or commit adultery in the EXTERNAL SENSES, they are following the LAW.

Paul quite adroitly described what the LAW against lust did to his own mind. Every manner of concupiscence transpired WITHIN him. And that is how Paul knew, beyond any doubt, that indwelling sin/evil present was an internal reality. And that evil thoughts defiled his own flesh.
Romans 7:
7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet.
8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
IF you have followed the narrative of the LAW, and are granted honesty, a DIVINE granting, then you would know the facts above as Paul described them apply to you and to all mankind,

We might even notice that evil thoughts are against the LAW, just as Paul described them for himself in Romans 7:7-13 above.
Anyone who says that doesn't happen within them or that such thoughts are NOT defiling, is a simple LIAR pawn and knows nothing about the LAW and the reality of what it factually does.

Paul's statements don't need to be altered to fit your views. They stand as written, and are true as written.
