There's a reason they went after all the Greek texts and destroyed them. There's a reason only two (sort of three) codices survived in Greek and the rest were in Latin.

If this was not the case, if it were written in Aramaic, the direct quotes in Aramaic would have never been highlighted in the writings. They would not stand out, because the entire productions would have been in Aramaic.
