Not scary weapon wise but there is much satellite bugging and monitoring. If a critical satellite was disrupted or tapped during an emergency scenario the results could be catastophic.

 

Even with Q/NSA & POTUS comms every bad actor in the world wants to tap comms at the sat without being found out.

Tha air force space command currently handles these missions and will be the division that will become the first members of space force

as researchers or investigators we are stuck with using provable documented facts. If we cant bring jesus or ET into a court room because we cant prove their existence then you are correct, it is a theory, but not one that serious adults will entertain.
