It's a map that's centered on TEXAS. the Tree is coming out of HOUSTON, since that is where the airport is Located.
Also, the airport is named after PAPPY bush, not Bush JR.
Also, they probably could have gone with a globe map, but jeez it's a bit cumbersome to place a giant globe model in the middle of a busy airport terminal where people are trying to walk.
