Y-head spotted with witchcraft themes

Miss Finland Alina Voronkova will appear in the Miss Universe contest in sequined horns and catfish leather dress.

>Janne-Caro Pykälä describes that the dress is a paean to the Finnish woman, who is a strong survivor, like a white deer.

The White Deer is a movie about witchcraft, a rare example of supernatural themes in old Finnish cinema. The witch Louhi is also mentioned by name. Louhi, Mistress of the North, is the closest thing the national epic Kalevala has to a main villain. In the fuzzy ball of Finnish mythology Louhi can also be identified with the death goddess who rules the underworld.

The ideal Finnish woman is apparently a witch now.

The Vikings weren't Finnish. The article make clear that the horns are deer horns that according to the man interviewed along with Alina Voronkova only the witch Louhi could wear. (Louhi doesn't have horns in Kalevala, by the way.)
