Inventor of the Web Prepares to Launch Web 3.0, Predicts Privacy Revolution

The inventor of the World Wide Web, Sir Tim Berners-Lee (shown), believes that “the web has evolved into an engine of inequity and division; swayed by powerful forces who use it for their own agendas.” To correct that and “restore the power and agency of individuals on the web,” Berners-Lee is preparing to re-invent the web.

Due to the growing prevalence of the twin evils of data-mining and data-manipulation, the web — created to be a free and open platform — has instead become a place where users find themselves robbed of both their privacy and easy access to reliable information on which they could base sound decisions. Take as just one example, the Cambridge Analytica breach of Facebook last year. By the time the dust settled and the smoke cleared, at least 50 million (and possibly as many as 87 million) users had their data harvested and used to manipulate their (and their friends’) votes in the 2016 presidential election.

And while that example points to Facebook, the reality is that the social media giant is far from alone. Other tech behemoths, including Google, Microsoft, and others, are also guilty of practicing “surveillance as a feature,” wherein users are tricked into handing over the digital keys to their lives in exchange for “benefits” such as easy syncing of calendars and address books. As a matter of course, these companies then misuse that data for their own benefit. With Google, Facebook, and Twitter routinely filtering search results and users’ timelines in favor of political candidates and policies favored by the decision makers at those companies, it is no wonder that the inventor of the web said that he has reached a “tipping point” where he sees that “people are reading stuff which is complete garbage and they're believing it, and they vote.”

Google’s parent company Alphabet Inc. owns a company called Sidewalk Labs, and they are working with the Canadian government to launch a new “smart city” at the waterfront of downtown Toronto called “Quayside.”

Quayside is proposing a centralized identity management system which each resident uses to access public services such as library cards and health care. Other plans include driverless cars, “mixed-use” spaces that change according to the market’s demands, heated streets, and “sensor-enabled waste separation.”

As the corrupt and unconstitutional Mueller witchhunt continues, efforts are underway to obtain unredacted information related to Mueller’s ‘pitbull’ Andrew Weissmann. Weissman’s egregious actions in the Enron case a decade ago are being covered up. Obtaining this information will no doubt show more massive corruption by this Mueller gang member.

Breaking: US-backed forces rip through Daesh lines to retake lost territory

BEIRUT, LEBANON (4:00 P.M.) – The U.S.-backed Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) launched a powerful counter-attack in southeast Deir Ezzor, today, targeting the areas they recently lost to the Islamic State (ISIS/ISIL/IS/Daesh) terrorist organization.

Backed by heavy airstrikes from the U.S. Coalition, the Syrian Democratic Forces began their counter-attack by storming Daesh’s newly captured territory inside of Al-Gharanj and Al-Bahra.

According to SDF activists, their troops managed to retake all of the territory they lost to Daesh over the last 24 hours, including the town of Al-Bahra, which was seized by the terrorist group last night.

The Syrian Democratic Forces were able to kill scores of Daesh fighters that were scattered across their thin front-lines in southeast Deir Ezzor.

MI6 chiefs are secretly battling Donald Trump to stop him publishing classified information linked to the Russian election meddling investigation.

The UK is warning that the US president would undermine intelligence gathering if he releases pages of an FBI application to wiretap one of his former campaign advisers.

However Trump allies are fighting back, demanding transparency and asking why Britain would oppose the move unless it had something to hide.

It forces the spotlight on whether the UK played a role in the FBI's investigation launched before the 2016 presidential election into Trump campaign ties to the Kremlin.

Theresa May was called to return the British multimillionaire Christopher Moran’s donations after journalists revealed that his firm earned money from an apartment block, where dozens of prostitutes are allegedly meeting clients. The Tories reportedly received the sum equivalent to $370,000 from Moran, half of it reportedly came from the company renting the flats in question.

The Sunday Time’ reporters, who had made bookings undercover, said that more than 100 sex workers were linked to his Chelsea Cloisters block, where the businessman has his office, in London’s posh area. The investigators managed to book prostitutes in 23 apartments, more than half of them were rented directly from Moran’s firm.
