Hugh Hefner reportedly filled a cement-lined casket full of his personal sex tapes and had the whole thing dumped into the Pacific Ocean before his death last September.

“Hugh [Hefner] was terrified of the world finding out everything about his past. He had kept a treasure chest of memories of his life with all these beautiful women dating back from the 1950s to the mid-1990s,” an insider revealed about the late Playboy founder to The Sun Friday.

“He only shared a few of the stories with his aides, but kept his personal items of his time with many famous beauties a secret,” the source added. “There [were] a batch of tapes, shot on 8 mm and cinefilm, which were filmed during some of the orgies he enjoyed in the 70s.”

The insider continued, “Some famous male movie stars, too, were in those videos and, had that come out, it would have been a huge scandal. Hef also had thousands of photographs taken at photo shoots or given to him by the girls over the years.”

“Marilyn [Monroe] was definitely in them, as well as many superstars who graced the pages of his magazine,” the source claimed. “Some of the women were in relationships and others never even made the magazine but simply were partying with him.”

At one point, the source shared in the 1990s after Pamela Anderson had her sex tape with Brett Michaels surface and then one with Tommy Lee, the late gentlemen’s magazine publisher drew very concerned his personal and private items would be “stolen and sold around the world.”

“He got so upset and paranoid that he decided it was best to have them disappear,” the source explained. “He didn’t trust people to burn them in case they got stolen, so he charged Joe [Piastro] with getting rid of them in the ocean. Joe had been his trusted head of security for years and had saved Hugh from many embarrassing situations in the past.”

The source continued, “Hugh explained that he didn’t want anyone’s lives, marriages or careers to be destroyed by what he had in his library. Joe did it and never told anyone.”

He stressed that responsibility for the incident rests on Kiev. "It will be Ukraine’s interests to be impacted by such actions, as it was after the seizure of the Nord ship’s crew," he noted.

He did not rule out that such provocation could be continues but reassured that it would not tell on Crimea’s everyday life. "I think hysterics and provocations on the part of the neighboring country will continue as long as the Russophobic regime controlled from abroad rules in Kiev," he noted. "I would like to reassure people living in Crimea that such pathologic activities will in no way impact the peaceful life on our peninsula. Crimea’s security is safeguarded duly and reliably."

Earlier on Sunday, the Russian Federal Security Service’s Border Service in Crimea reported that three Ukrainian warships had illegally crossed Russia’s state border entering its territorial waters, and were carrying out dangerous maneuvers. The ships are heading to the Kerch Strait. The Border Service is taking measures to ensure safe navigation and regulate the movement of ships in the Black Sea, the Sea of Azov and the Kerch Strait. Director General of Crimea’s seaports, Alexei Volkov, told TASS that the Kerch Strain has been closed for civil navigation for security considerations.

New $8 Billion Israel-Europe Gas Pipeline to Challenge Russia, Arab Suppliers

A new underwater pipeline connecting Israel’s natural gas reserves to Greece, Italy, and Cyprus will eventually give all of Europe a new source of energy to challenge traditional suppliers in Russia and the Middle East.

The monumental project will be the longest and deepest underwater gas pipeline in the world. It will be built on the back of support from Europe with private investors contributing $100 million in a feasibility study for its construction, according to Israeli TV news channel Hadashot.

As part of the agreement, Israel and Cyprus will be granted preference over other countries in exporting gas to the European market, according to the report. The EastMed Pipeline Project is to start about 170 kilometers (105 miles) off Cyprus’s southern coast and stretch for 2,200 kilometers (1,350 miles) to reach Otranto, Italy, via Crete and the Greek mainland.

Israel Energy Minister Yuval Steinitz commented on the deal to Hadashot, saying that it could temper Arab influence in Europe.

“For decades, we have complained about the Arab influence in Europe due to oil and gas. The export of gas to Europe will moderate this influence to a certain extent and be a counterweight to Arab power,” he said.

In February, Egypt, the only Arab state apart from Jordan to have a peace deal with Israel, inked an agreement to import gas from the Jewish state’s Tamar and Leviathan reservoirs.

Egypt used to supply Israel with gas but that pipeline was sabotaged repeatedly by Islamist militants in the turbulent northern part of the Sinai Peninsula.

Egypt was the first Arab country to make peace with Israel, in 1979, but past economic agreements have been controversial in the Arab world’s most populous country, where popular support for Palestinians runs high.

BREAKING: Slovakia will not support UN migration pact under any circumstances, Prime Minister says

Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini announced after the European Union Summit on Sunday that Slovakia will NOT support the United Nations Global Migration Compact.

“Slovakia will not support this United Nations pact under any circumstances and will not agree with it,” Pellegrini said after the meetings.

The Global Compact for Safe, Orderly and Regular Migration is set to be signed in Marrakech in December.

The rejection of the migration pact could pose problems for Pellegrini’s government as Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajcak, who was President of the United Nations General Assembly when the migration pact was adopted, threatened to resign if the government rejects the agreement.

Pellegrini has faith that Lajcak will stay even though they are rejecting the pact, “I will do everything I can to keep him in his seat”.

New York state bill to require review of gun-license applicants’ social media & search history

There is a bill in the New York State Assembly, S. 9191, which would require:

A review of one’s social media and search engine prior to the approval of an application or renewal of a gun license.

The consent of anyone applying for a license to carry or possess a pistol or revolver or a renewal of such license to have his/her social media accounts and search engine history reviewed and investigated for certain posts and/or searches over a period of 1-3 years prior to the approval of such application or renewal.

The state government investigator will look for slurs or “biased language” about race, color, national origin, gender, religion, age, disability or sexual orientation; threats against another’s health or safety; “acts of terrorism”; and the all-purpose “any other issue deemed necessary” by the investigator.

All of this intrusion into one’s privacy and, therefore, violations of the Constitution’s Fourth Amendment, is justified in order “to show the good character, competency and integrity of each person or individual signing the [gun license] application.”

S. 9191 states:

In order to ascertain whether any social media account or search engine history of an applicant presents any good cause for the denial of a license, the investigating officer shall, after obtaining the applicant’s consent pursuant to subdivision three of this section, and obtaining any log-in name, password or other means for accessing a personal account, service, or electronic communications device necessary to review such applicant’s social media accounts and search engine history, review an applicant’s social media accounts for the previous three years and search engine history for the previous year and investigate an applicant’s posts or searches related to (i) commonly known profane slurs or biased language used to describe the race, color, national origin, ancestry, gender, religion, religious practice, age, disability or sexual orientation of a person; (ii) threatening the health or safety of another person; (iii) an act of terrorism; or (iv) any other issue deemed necessary by the investigating officer. For the purposes of this subdivision, “social media accounts” shall only include Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter and Instagram, and “search engine” shall only include Google, Yahoo and Bing.

On November 14, 2018, S. 9191 was referred to the Rules Committee.
