5d chess in making NATO nations carry their fair economic share
Military Support = Economic Support. In being the role of the big brother that flunked and is in the same class to protect them, the United States footing the bill for ALL of the EU's defense (outside a token force that gets steam rolled at a harsh glance), the EU is now free to use all the funds they would have otherwise had to put into their military - as well as research - they can now spend all of that money on ecnomic ventures.
Basically, the USA is - and has been - PAYING for the EU socialist systems.
Look at Paris - now that the USA is withdrawing (or threatening to anyway) from NATO and is forcing the EU nations to begin at least keeping 'current' bills paid for NATO (nevermind paying up on past bills) France is already buckling.
With DJT's tweet earlier, it was a 'hey look at Paris and France in general, you fuckers, this is going to happen to all of you unless you oust those left-wing fucknuts you've let controll you' to the people of Europe.
