Would anons care to hear about how Voat's QRV is being slid through forum sliding tecniques?
This seems to be an increasing problem.
I'd hate for us to have created a place for the normies, only for none of them to be able to see it or for them to all be demoralized because of shills.
Is there something anon thinks we can do about it? I can provide a hearty amount of info about all of this.
I'll try and post this a few times so that different timezones can weigh in.
Let me know, anons.
You seem to be missing the point.
Users that have been at Voat for years have been mobilizing to stop v/all (like r/all at reddit) from showing QRV posts. this makes it harder for average voat visitors or people that don't know how to use voat better to see the sub.
what they're doing is sliding by using many accounts to constantly post pictures to v/aww and use all of those accounts to upvote these things to the front.
these same people are all flooding QRV with demoralizing posts, drama posts, and the likes while filing the comment sections with shill comments.
I get it, many here won't care much.
But, there are actors OUTSIDE of the sub that are attempting to accomplish these things.
I've talked to the site owner about it and he just doesn't say anything.
I'm not under the impression you don't know how they're doing it, but I'm curious to see what anon thinks about trying to salvage QRV, as it seems to be getting attacked constantly.
Maybe I'm just concernfaging, but it seems to be an increasing issue.
>owner guy can't run the site, as per his own admittance, but still does somehow
>if neither can be fixed, then QRV is hosed
this is the reason I posted here.
Is there anything we can do about this, or do we just let it fail?
I put in a lot of effort to prepare for the q community coming to voat. I've gathered plenty of info about this.
Anon told me the other day that this group coordinating all of this is GCHQ. Whether or not that's true remains to be proven, but it is an exciting theory.
Primarily, I'm wondering if it's even worth it.
