Border Patrol did not shoot this that far - I think the invaders picked it up and threw it to the canal hoping it would go out.

I think it was these guys that picked up the smoke bomb and tossed it down away from them,
hoping it would hit the canal and go out.

I didn't see anyone arrested by Mexico. Who grabbed the 500? All I saw was Mexican Police stepping aside and letting the invaders go where they wanted.
