I just started watching the original Twin Peaks. I'm on season 2 now. I thought the exact same thing - our show. And this was 1990!

CDAN just had a blind item about Kelly Van Dyke, daughter of Jerry, who (allegedly) was sexually abused by him & became a porn star. She killed herself in 1991. Her husband, Jack Nance, played Pete on Twin Peaks. He died 5 years later I think.
