That comment is leading. The Cthulhu are wearing aprons that may look similar to Masonic aprons.

 

That should not imply a direct correlation between Masons and Cthulhu unless sauce can be provided that shows distinct similarities.

 

Many cooks and maids wear aprons, that hardly makes them Masons or Cthulhu.

I still think you might be reaching a little imo.

 

A basic search comparing Cthulhu symbols to Masonic symbols shows little to no similarities.

 

However, I will concede that I am not as knowledgeable about the Cthulhu cultists as I am with the general mythos.

I may be missing the mark, I assumed we were all aware of the FICTIONAL aspect of Lovecraft and Cthulhu.

 

I thought the original post about the masonic aprons was referring to individuals that actually follow it as a religion.
