This would be my #1 argument on "the climate change issue":
It is a POLITICAL question being framed as a question about science. The POLITICS comes first. If it were purely a question of the environment, then top down pressure would be put on CORPORATIONS to reduce pollution. The scientific questions have their own convolutions, but we should NEVER, in a political context, be misled into thinking that "science dictates certain political necessities". In some future, much more enlightened world that may be possible, but not in this one. It is a POLITICAL move that is enlisting (and thus discrediting) science as a weapon.
