Absolutely. This opioid epidemic gets rid of ne’er do wells and has made pharma a shitload of money. Totally manufactured. Not the first time in history, either. Check China, the British empire and the opium trade. Opium destroyed a whole generation of China. The emperor then banned it’s import and the bloody Brits, because they, too, made tons of money in its trade annexed Hong Kong.
