For my daughter's Lyme disease, we went both routes – regular and alternative.

So she got intravenous antibiotics for about six weeks prescribed by infectious disease specialist. Her case was bizarre and actually written about in medical journal – had no idea she had Lymes till her knee blew up like a balloon and she had emergency surgery done to drain it.

The homeopath put her on a regime of RIFE machine plus magnatherm machine to strengthen the adrenals 3x per week plus heavy duty Vitamin C (liquid form) and believe it or not, salt tablets. This was 21 years ago.

Nowadays, I would recommend getting a Spooky 2 generator (RIFE-like) machine for your home and follow the Lyme protocol to a T. I would still do the antibiotics, liquid Vitamin C and the salt tablets. Oh, and acidolpholous (sp?) for the good bacteria in the gut.

…Since that doc died I have tried to learn as much as I can about alternative treatments. Have had a lot of success with essential oils. In particular, I am a fan of Thieves Oil. Pic related. Supposedly anti-fungal, anti-bacterial, and anti-viral. Get only 100% therapeutic grade though. Rub on bottoms of feet on area that corresponds to spine/central nervous system. Pic related. I do this once daily to boost immune system. If I had Lymes, I would do it at least 2x, possibly 3x per day. Be careful not to touch any sensitive areas afterwards, tho. It is a "hot" oil.

Two other things you might want to look into is Hulda Clark's "The Cure for All Diseases"
