Brain has been running about the Comey/Lynch testimonies this coming week. Here's what it produced after the smoke cleared.
Lynch testifies on the third. Closed door, uncontested.
Comey has been squealing like a bitch about testifying in a closed door session.
Why? You are forced to answer questions about classified matters in a closed hearing. Open hearing, you can simply say that can't discuss that in this venue. He wants to dodge the questions…again.
My thought is that they will grant him his open hearing, and declas documents relevant to him beforehand, but after Lynch testifies. They would then have him dead to rights, and her possibly for perjury.
The glorious part is, that if he agrees to open testimony, it'll be on c-span. Everyone will be able to see him for who he is. Unhidable. So when it blows up to include the rest of the swamp, no one will be able to argue it as a partisan issue.
Thoughts?
