So…
I am at the grocery store and I am listening to Hannity before I go in. Lewandowski was on and it was interesting stuff that we already knew along with Trump playing coy in his interview. (as if they do not have it all)
Anyway…I see a cart getting really close to my sideview driver mirror. As she makes contact with my mirror, I look up to see a middle aged black woman dragging every inch of her cart across my mirror cover, while holding a cell phone next to her ear. Keep in mind, it is 25 degrees out, so she must be committed to phone call and keeping the car the hell off of HER CAR.
Just for information sake, I have a small foreign coupe with a salvage title and a ton of scratches, which you can see pretty well when there is not snow on my car, as there is now. I really do not care about the appearance of this car.
As she passes me and doesn't bother to look inside the car, I roll down my window and say "Hi." She tells the person she is on the phone with to hang on. LOL. Not, I need to hang up because this might require a small amount of attention. Knowing perfectly well that she would have lost her mind on anyone, who had done this to her newish Lincoln Luxury Sedan.
I then say "It is a real good thing that I do not care about this car's paint. If you had broken my mirror, I may have asked you for 20 dollars, so that I could get another at the salvage yard. Merry Christmas" All with a smiling face and love and peace in my heart.
She half-heartedly responded "Merry Christmas" I think it was the confusion, which muffled her response. Surely not shame or guilt…or even responsibility. But, that is for her to sort out.
As I got out of my car, I thought that I only hope that she realizes how close she may have come to some crazy person shooting her over something so stupid and selfish.
I became convinced otherwise, as I watcher her resume her phone call and continue to load her groceries as the man behind her started his car and put it in gear as if that were a perfectly safe place to be.
