Ukraine-Russia Crisis Over Black Sea Incident – November 27-28
On November 27, Crimean authorities started determining measures of restraint for the 24 Ukrainian servicemen, who had particiapted in the violation of the Russian border and been engaged in an armed clash with Russian coastal guard near the Kerch Strait. So far, court has arrested 12 servicemen for two months. The rest cases will be evaluated on November 28.
The investigation into the Black Sea incident between a group of 3 Ukrainian warships and Russian coastal guards in Russian territorial waters is ongoing.
The Russian Federal Security Service also released a list of weapons and ammunition, which were seized from the arrested Ukrainian warships:

When the FSB refered to 30mm guns, AGS-17 automatic grenade launchers and PKT machine guns, it meant combat modules installed on two arrested Gurza-class boats of the Ukrainian Navy.
The FSB also released documents seized on the Ukrainian warships. The documents confirm that Ukrainian servicemen had a direct order to carrry out a “covert” passage of the Kerch Strait obviously violating the established legal rulles of passage through the area.

Trump to meet Putin at G20, but not MBS – Bolton
US President Donald Trump will meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin at this week’s G20 summit in Buenos Aires. Trump will not, however, meet with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.
In a schedule full of meetings with world leaders, Trump is pencilled in to talk with Putin, National Security Advisor John Bolton told reporters on Tuesday. Explaining the absence of a meeting with bin Salman, Bolton simply said that Trump’s schedule is “full to overflowing.”
Trump’s meeting with Putin looks set to build on the leaders’ summit in Helsinki this summer, with many of the same issues on the table. According to Bolton, the two leaders will discuss “security issues, arms control, and regional issues, including the Middle East.” The recent flare-up of tensions between Russia and Ukraine is “sure” to be discussed, he added.
Trump will also likely be pressured to discuss the recent confrontation between Russian and Ukrainian vessels in the Kerch Strait. Asked for a response by reporters on Monday, Trump said that he was “not happy about it at all,” but declined to elaborate or take sides. Trump’s meeting with Putin will be the first time since June that the two leaders get a chance to talk, save for a short greeting at Armistice Day commemorations in Paris earlier this month.
What could be more noteworthy, however, is the lack of a meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince. The murder of Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi has strained relations between Riyadh and much of the world, and has focused attention on Trump’s insistence on standing by the Saudis, despite calls for sanctions from lawmakers in the US.
Speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Bolton left open the possibility of a meeting between Trump and MBS, but went no further than that.
I wouldn’t say that we’ve ruled out any interaction,” he said. “The president’s schedule is pretty packed…we wouldn’t rule anything out.”
Saudi Arabia has admitted that Jamal Khashoggi was murdered by Saudi operatives, but denied that MBS authorized or ordered his execution. Trump issued a statement last week saying that, while the Saudi prince “could well have” known in advance of the plan to kill the journalist, the US will remain a “steadfast partner” of Saudi Arabia, owing to its strategic importance as an oil exporter and ally against Iran.

Federal Treasurer pulls out of G20 summit
Treasurer Josh Frydenberg has withdrawn from attending the G20 summit in Argentina.
Mr Frydenberg was due to attend the Buenos Aires meeting this month, alongside Prime Minister Scott Morrison.
But he will instead stay in Canberra where the government is dealing with the fallout from losing its majority in parliament.

Paul Manafort should ‘rot in jail and then he should rot in hell,’ Meghan McCain says
Meghan McCain condemned Paul Manafort severely while reacting to news that President Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman had lied to federal prosecutors after he agreed to cooperate in special counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia probe, according to The Hill.
McCain’s anger was directed toward Manafort’s alleged dealings with Russia and Russian President Vladimir Putin, and the idea that Trump could potentially pardon Manafort for his crimes.
Here’s what McCain had to say: “To that angle, when you’re talking about Putin, what we do know is that one of the things that got him in jail was he was an unregistered foreign agent and he was a conduit between Russian oligarchs within Putin’s inner circle. So this is what we do know about him,” McCain said. “As far as I’m concerned, people who do blood money dealings like this, he should rot in jail and then he should rot in hell, as far as I’m concerned with Paul Manafort.”
One panelist tried to give McCain an out to soften her stance some, joking that she meant that “in a nice way,” but McCain was adamant.
“No, I don’t. I think when you take blood money from foreign adversaries when you’re a United States citizen in the way that he did — the idea that he can be pardoned…it would enter us to a new level of insanity,” McCain said.
So much for softer rhetoric? After bombs were mailed to Democrats and members of the media last month, McCain said she had been doing some soul searching regarding the way she talked about people on television and how it might be contributing to the political polarization in the U.S.
Specifically, she said she regretted saying “I hate Hillary Clinton” and calling her “Crooked Hillary,” because she and other media members needed to tone down their language and hold themselves “to the same standard I would like to hold the president.”
What’s going on with Manafort? After agreeing to cooperate with the Mueller investigation in September as a part of a guilty plea, prosecutors said in court documents that Manafort had lied about “a variety of subject matters,” and they’re now considering refiling charges that were dismissed as a part of his plea deal.
Manafort was already facing at least 10 years in prison for 10 felonies including financial fraud and conspiracy to obstruct justice.

Missouri Pedophile Paid Grandmother $400 to Kidnap and Molest 13-Year-Old Alabama Girl
There's disturbing news coming out of Missouri where an alleged pedophile worked out an agreement with a grandmother to assist him in his disturbing desires to molest a 13-year-old child, with the woman accepting $400 as payment for the young girl.
21-year-old Michael James Collins admitted to paying $400 in cash to his grandmother at a court proceeding on Monday.
According to the Department of Justice (DOJ), Collins sought the assistance of both his mother and grandmother in a paid scheme to send them to kidnap a 13-year-old girl he'd met online via a dating website.
After the child carried out a series of online conversations with Collins from her home in Alabama to his residence at a Community Supervision Center in Fulton, Missouri, they planned to meet.
Collins was convicted of a felony sex offense for sexting a 14-year-old girl in April 2016, almost a year-and-a-half before his latest offense took place.
Collins resided in the Supervision Center where he remained on probation for his previous pedophilia-related conviction.
Both his mother and grandmother would drive him to and from work, where he later planned to have them pick up the 13-year-old and drop her off for him to engage in sexual relations with.
Collins and the child would communicate via Facebook messenger, prior to him paying his grandmother $400 to pick up the child.
In December, the Callaway County Sheriff's Office in Missouri first received a call from the child's family to report her missing.
Amidst an investigation, a cellular ping on the girl's device would place her inside the residence of Collins, which led investigators to remove the girl from his home and take him into custody.

A 36-year-old man from Maryland pretended to be a 14-year-old boy on Snapchat to strike a conversation and a friendship with a 12-year-old girl. The man would later be accused of horrifically raping the young girl.
The alleged pedophile has been identified as John Warren Compton. He was arrested on Sunday at a park where he had arranged to meet the victim again.
Charging documents state that the girl reported Compton to the authorities in mid-August , a week after she said she has been raped by the elder man. The girl shared to the authorities that she had no idea he was an adult until she met him when he came to pick her up at her grandmother’s residence in Pennsylvania. The girl said Compton later drove her to his Emmitsburg, MD home where the rape took place.
It was then that the authorities planned their moves to bust Compton. First, they took over the social media accounts of the girl and arranged to meet with the alleged pedophile on Sunday.
After his arrest, Compton denied posing as a 14-year-old boy and instead told investigators that he only met the girl on Tinder. The accused attempted to turn the tables on the girl, and claimed that it was her who pretended to be 18.
Compton is now facing charges including for second-degree rape. He is also being held without bail.
