I don't know about this particular personality but one thing to bear in mind is that special forces work at a high level and are most likely to have been exposed to the truth of what is going on as they are within the system. There is a reason they become bodyguards for celebrities and work for private armies after they do their time. Also, they are psychopaths as they couldn't do the job they do otherwise.
