Looks like a railfan map to me, not anything official.

Interesting that the "United States High Speed Rail System" includes a sizeable run through Canada between Montreal and Windsor (ending at the great metropolis of Quincy, IL (WTF??).

I was wondering how this release compares to others.

The way it is worded, it sounds awfully low-key. Like "hey we're having a ribbon cutting, wanna come and take some pics? There'll be cake!".

Is it commonplace to issue a release like this for only major, major habbenings or does something like this go out when they hold any kind of press conference?

If you look at the web pages for major Toronto media outlets, you wouldn't know that she was even in town.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/toronto

https://toronto.ctvnews.ca/

https://globalnews.ca/

https://www.thestar.com/

You can bet she would be on all of the above home pages (except maybe the Sun) if the arena had been sold out.

"Toronto welcomes former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton with open arms!"
