PLANTS NEED WATER - AN ALTERNATE THEORY
Ever since I read the numerous Q posts stating that Manafort was a plant inside the Trump campaign, I held nothing but contempt for the man… assuming that his testimony in Mueller's investigation would be detrimental to POTUS' administration.
Today's headlines leaving me scratching my head.
Suddenly, the deep state's plant has made Mueller's team very angry:

He has also made one of our deep state princesses very angry:

Suddenly, we are hearing reports that Manafort gave Trump's legal team regular updates about Mueller's questions:

On top of these recent developments, why would a deep state plant agree to deal that results in them being stripped of all their wealth, as well as many months (at least) in jail:

As Q has said many times, "Reconcile".
The above does not "Reconcile" with me, so here is an alternative theory…
We don't have enough information to tell if Manafort was a plant in POTUS' administration to begin with, but what if he didn't end up being a DS operative in the end?
What could possibly be more detrimental to a prosecutor's case than if they had a KEY WITNESS (campaign manager) early on who told them he would "flip" on the defendant (POTUS)? The prosecutor subsequently builds their entire case around this witness' statement, and they get every other "witness" to coroborate the key witness' story. At the last minute, as the prosecutor is writing their report, the key witness tells the prosecutor to go fuck himself.
The prosecutor's entire case falls apart, and the entire deep state goes into a frenzy (see articles linked above).
I don't know if this is what happened, or why it happened if it did, but I will leave you with this one piece of insight:
Plants need water… but they also need light!
