There is a setting to prevent emergency squawks from floating to the top of the list but usually the defaults are fine.

POTUS has been doing exceptionally well by dealing with foreign leaders himself, or via the State Department. We don't need the UN for forming alliances or trade deals or reaching world consensus on critical matters. Or, if an official world meeting place is deemed necessary by our leaders as the best framework for the present, either the UN needs a massive enema or an alternative body could be created.
