The attached report contains information about recommendations from the Department of Justice
(DOJ) Office of the Inspector General’s (OIG) audits, evaluations, and reviews that the OIG had not
closed as of September 30, 2018. Although the Department may have taken steps to implement
the recommendations listed in this report, a recommendation is not considered closed until it has
been fully implemented.

information omits recommendations that the DOJ determined to be classified or sensitive, and
therefore unsuitable for public release.
