I figured out another meaning of the "gold topped" pyramid. The capstone is the amount of hard currency (gold)….the rest of the pyramid is fiat paper money. and of course those at the top own/control all the gold…same thing in all societies.
Could be nothing and definitely not the only meaning, but it totally makes sense in a visual metaphor.
