I do this, even to parked cars if the buses are even about to arrive to drop off the kids. Me and the neighbor lady are the neighborhood sentry. It's kinda a joke among the neighbors. We like to look out our windows, and aren't afraid of the white vans waiting. We go talk to them…and get plate numbers. Our police are trustworthy, that's important as hell.
We never see the vans again, it's been awhile since we've even seen the cars waiting or going slow near students walking.

I was thinking in our case their "boss" told them, get out of that neighborhood, too much heat. Every time we see them parked but not picking up students, we call the fuzz. I guess it got to be problematic and they couldn't even work elsewhere in our area.
