I know of a female con-artist in the UK who sells the idea of buying real estate in the USA at sheriff sales or tax sales, gets people to open up a business in Wyoming AT THIS SAME ADDRESS, then she takes the info provided by the fools she cons and creates the exact same entities (same names and everything) in Florida without the people she is fleecing knowing anything about it. Fr the Florida companies she also becomes the registered agent and all mail to these companies in Florida goes through her.
She has done this over thirty times and I have all the companies that she has done this with sitting in a folder on my hard drive. I can't notify the 'owners' of these companies because all the mail goes through her.
I even contacted someone at the AP (Associated Press) who had written a big article on this shell company scam and gave him all this info. He didn't do anything in the end even though I had all the proof of what had happened.
I contacted the Sec of State of Florida and they said that companies 'are created on the honor system' in that they take as gospel the info submitted on online forms. The mind boggles at this type of stupidity.
If I know of one woman who has done this at least thirty times how many others have done this??
This woman also creates bank accounts in these corporation names and has herself as a signatory on the account while also letting the original owners 'have use' of the account too.
I found all this out when I had a company set up in Wyoming and then 'found out by accident' that she also set a corporation up in Florida with the registered agent being a lawyer friend of hers. When I got in touch with the bank manager at the bank she had set my account up at that is when I found out she was also a signatory on my account.
When trying to purchase a car through the company I got a phone call out of the blue from her asking what I was doing!!!!! That is what got to me look into how my companies had been set up. Asking lots of questions led me down the path of discovery of what she was doing.
Yet the law doesn't deem that what she is doing is wrong!!!!
