Except, its not a mystery. They figured it out in the late 50s but the CDC refuses to acknowledge it because it demonstrates a problem with their vaccine agenda. It's called provocation polio and these cases of AFM always break out in early fall, because parents wait until just before school starts to get their kids caught up on their vaccines. It was discovered by Australian researchers in the 50s that tissue injury produced by an injection (or by tonsilectomies) created a pathway to infect the body and readily journey to the spinal cord, causing paralysis.

However, I do know of the death of at least one 6 yr old in Seattle, two years ago. In that case the CDC even refused to call it AFM or consider the fact the kid got 7 vaccines less than 30 days before he got sick and dies.
