"There's a story about a man who went to a pet shop to buy a birthday gift for his mother. The mother lived alone and the son thought it would be nice for his mom to have a pet as a companion. The shop owner recommended a parrot. Not just any parrot, a special parrot. The man explained this parrot is fluent in English. The man thought that would keep his mother entertained, so he bought it and he arranged for delivery and about a week later he received a thank you note from his mother that said son I am so grateful you sent that wonderful bird … I cooked it and ate it for dinner. It was delicious! The man was horrified. He called his mother immediately, (said) why did you eat the parrot! That parrot was so talented it could speak English fluently. And his mother replied "well then it should've said something".
I've only used that joke once before, I apologize if you were there when I did, but the morale of the story is that if you don't talk when you get the chance, do not complain later. This forum provides a great opportunity for people to talk and to share their ideas."
