>>4082375I concur Anon…Maryland is not a tiny state. The Western Shore is heavily populated and the Eastern Shore is getting there. We are more RED than most believe. In fact, just today our Republican Governor Larry Hogan signed an executive order to create a nine seat panel to redraw the 6th Congressional District based on an order by a Federal Judge. It is gerrymandered favoring the Democrats.

When I visit my shore home, I often think about voting there instead of the 6th District. I remember when the chatter was to secede when Parris Glendenny was the Governor. I campaigned hard for Hogan.

I agree Anon. The high crime in Baltimore combined with Montgomery and Prince Georges counties……mix it with DC = bad Bad!!!

The wealthiest counties are on the Eastern Shore = Talbot, Queen Annes, Worchester. Multi million $$$homes and estate.

OMG>…YES!!! How do I say this kindly………..Uncle Don was my God Father!!!!!

My parents were in politics in Maryland and Masons and Eastern Star. I registered Republican and voted on election day canceling out my fathers votes! I grew up visiting the Uncle Don alot. We had lunch every month, I think as a public relations thing until he passed. It was an interesting childhood.

He was the Mayor of Baltimore, the state Governor, and the Comptroller after Louie Goldstein passed. Mr Louie had a condo next to mine in Ocean City. He was a very nice man.
