The thing about average
Is that it tends to obscure that SOME PEOPLE
Would live to a much older age
Likely the demographics of those over 70
Were similar to today,
But in the younger years, anyone susceptible to disease
Was culled.
Anyone who could not handle the physical effort of survival
Was culled.
Accidents happened to ACTIVE people
Including childbearing women
But if you got to 60-70 the others would protect you
Because of your wisdom and knowledge
