This is true as long as it doesn't say CBD. DEA still considers CBD a schedule 1 narcotic. "Hemp Oil", however, falls under a different regulation by the FDA. Hemp oil is legal in all 50 states as it is regulated as a dietary supplement. You can take CBD labeled as "Hemp Oil".

One thing to note. IMPORTANT!!

CBD Hemp Oil still contains trace amounts of THC. The levels it contain present no psychoactive effects but it can still accumulate within the body. If you take CBD, you should invest in a drug test kit if you get drug tested. CBD oil can sometimes cause you to fail a drug test.

The sauce is me. I took CBD for awhile for some mild anxiety and out of curiosity, ordered a test kit off the webs. Came back positive the next day. This was taken in the morning. By that afternoon a retest came back negative. It seems to elevate the metabolite just to the detection threshold. But dissipates quickly.

I quit taking it. I didn't want to risk my job because of a dietary supplement.
