Its VERY weird they landed at McClellan, I would think that if they were headed on to somewhere else that they would stop and refuel at Travis which is the largest base in the area and usually handles the hercs, c-17s and C-5s. Mighty spoopiness.

Saga of the C-130 HAVOC flight

1) Picked up flight of C-130 Hercules planes with HAVOC callsigns around midnight last night near Springfield, MO, continued west over Colorado Springs. Center plane in formation has a "Q" in it's callsign.

2) Picked up again pulling some maneuvers near Palmdale, seems to land.

3)Flight picked up heading north, all but one plane changed from HAVOC callsigns to RCH.

4)Flight lands at McClellan airfield in Sacramento, a former AFB closed since 2001!

Luckily Hercs fly slowly so was able to get some sleep last night… surprised to see them this morning still going. Keep eyes on Sacramento, we need to see if they leave. If they don't leave then something weird is going on!
