Not sure if anyone has attempted to dig any connection with the gene-edited babies and Chongqing.

I was cursory digging to find any kind of connection with the DNA editing and Chongqing. I came up empty although the scientist, He Jiankui, is from inland China in one of the closest Metro areas to Chongqing which is Hunan (among others in other directions).

I've been left to conclude there's no treasure in this dig.
