Grenade Explodes at U.S. Consulate in Mexico

Authorities in Mexico are investigating a grenade attack at the U.S. Consulate in Guadalajara, Jalisco. Authorities have not revealed if the attack resulted in any fatalities or injuries.

Law enforcement sources in Mexico revealed to Breitbart News that the attack on Saturday morning was initially reported as a possible shooting or a person setting off fireworks at or near the U.S. Consulate General in Guadalajara. The information was soon confirmed to have been an actual grenade attack where two devices were thrown. At least one of the grenades exploded in or near the consular compound. Agents with Mexico’s Attorney General’s Office (PGR) and forensic investigators with Jalisco’s Attorney General’s Office were dispatched to the scene to conduct preliminary investigations.

There are calls for the Guardian‘s editor-in-chief to resign as they face accusations of publishing a “fake news” story about WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange on 27 November.

The Guardian article accused Assange of holding “secret talks” with Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Paul Manafort, citing anonymous sources.

The ‘allegation’ could strengthen efforts to extradite Assange to the US, where he may face the death penalty.

A news outlet should not have this much power.

WikiLeaks, in response, is preparing to sue the Guardian for running the story.

The Motto of the State of Israel Should Be 'Living on Killing'

That’s not just some kind of game board slogan, it’s the daily policy and practice of the state of Israel.

Trump keeps suggesting that he wants peace between Israel and the Palestinians, but offers no plan that has a chance of working, precisely because Israel has no interest in peace. What Israel wants is Palestinian land for its settlements… and water. Why settle for peace when Palestinians can be controlled by targeted assassination, home demolitions, road blocks, check points, settler violence and the blockade of Gaza.

All Israel has to do, according to Amon Sofer of Haifer University, is to treat Palestinians like animals.

Seal the territory off from the outside world and shoot anyone who tries to break out. When 2.5 million people live in a closed off Gaza, it’s going to be a human catastrophe. Those people will become even bigger animals than they are today. So, if we want to remain alive, we will have to kill and kill and kill, all day, every day.[1]

Surely one would hope that was just the rantings of one fanatic and not to be taken seriously.

On Monday, May 14, in Gaza, Israeli snipers shot and killed 60 Palestinians, including 6 children – and injured almost 3,000 others amid scenes of smoke, fire, teargas, dust, agony and blood.

These are the children and grandchildren of those who were driven from their homes during the ethnic cleansing of Palestine in 1948 to make room for the new State of Israel. Their only crime was not being Jews.[2]

Since Herbsy wrote those words on April 4, 2018, the number of casualties has greatly risen. To date, Israel snipers have killed 214 and wounded over 18,000.[5]

Trump Bucks G20 Leaders on Junk Science Climate Change Agreement

President Trump bucked the G20 leaders and refused to sign a final agreement for the Paris Climate Accord on Saturday.

The US is outperforming the Paris Accord Nations anyway.

The Hill reported:

Leaders of the Group of 20 (G-20) nations on Saturday signed off on a final statement pledging to fix the world trading system, with all but President Trump also expressing support for the Paris climate agreement.

The statement finalized after the two-day summit in Buenos Aires, Argentina, calls for reforming the World Trade Organization but does not mention protectionism because the U.S. resisted those discussions, according to The Associated Press.

The statement also says that 19 leaders reaffirmed their commitment to fighting climate change through the Paris agreement, with Trump being the sole holdout.

The agreement is nonbinding.

Trump has long bashed the 2015 Paris accord, which was negotiated under the Obama administration, and announced the United States’s exit from the agreement last year.

He has also pushed back on the findings of a report released by his administration last week outlining the potentially devastating consequences of climate change.

Former US First Lady Michelle Obama’s memoir, titled “Becoming,” has sold more copies than any other book published this year.

American book publisher Penguin Random House announced on Friday that the former first lady's book had sold over 2 million copies in all formats and editions in the US and Canada alone during the first 15 days of its publication.

"BECOMING is in its second week at #1 on two New York Times bestseller lists: Hardcover Nonfiction and the Combined Print and E-Book Bestsellers. It is also #1 on the USA Today and Publishers Weekly bestsellers lists," the publisher said in a news release.

"Mrs. Obama's book is a runaway bestseller worldwide, having achieved the # 1 adult nonfiction ranking in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Holland, Spain, Denmark, Norway, Finland, and Greece. In her book, Obama chronicles her childhood on the south side of Chicago, her career as a lawyer as well as her relationship with US President Barack Obama. The last third of her book follows Obama's journey through the White House and has gained a fair amount of notoriety for its swipes at US President Donald Trump.

At one point in her memoir she writes that she stopped "even trying to smile" when Trump was being sworn into office in January 2017.

"Someone from Barack's administration might have said that the optics there were bad — that what the public saw didn't reflect the president's reality or ideals. But in this case, maybe it did. Realising it, I made my own optic adjustment: I stopped even trying to smile," she said, referring to Trump's inauguration speech.

She also claimed that she would "never forgive" Trump for spreading the "birther" conspiracy theory — a false assertion that President Obama was born in Kenya and was therefore ineligible to be a US president.

"The whole [birther] thing was crazy and mean-spirited, of course, its underlying bigotry and xenophobia hardly concealed. But it was also dangerous, deliberately meant to stir up the wingnuts and kooks. What if someone with an unstable mind loaded a gun and drove to Washington? What if that person went looking for our girls? Donald Trump, with his loud and reckless innuendos, was putting my family's safety at risk. And for this I'd never forgive him," she wrote.

Rumours of a link between the US first family and the Nazi war machine have circulated for decades. Now the Guardian can reveal how repercussions of events that culminated in action under the Trading with the Enemy Act are still being felt by today’s president

George Bush’s grandfather, the late US senator Prescott Bush, was a director and shareholder of companies that profited from their involvement with the financial backers of Nazi Germany.

The Guardian has obtained confirmation from newly discovered files in the US National Archives that a firm of which Prescott Bush was a director was involved with the financial architects of Nazism.

His business dealings, which continued until his company’s assets were seized in 1942 under the Trading with the Enemy Act, has led more than 60 years later to a civil action for damages being brought in Germany against the Bush family by two former slave labourers at Auschwitz and to a hum of pre-election controversy.

The evidence has also prompted one former US Nazi war crimes prosecutor to argue that the late senator’s action should have been grounds for prosecution for giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

The debate over Prescott Bush’s behaviour has been bubbling under the surface for some time. There has been a steady internet chatter about the “Bush/Nazi” connection, much of it inaccurate and unfair. But the new documents, many of which were only declassified last year, show that even after America had entered the war and when there was already significant information about the Nazis’ plans and policies, he worked for and profited from companies closely involved with the very German businesses that financed Hitler’s rise to power. It has also been suggested that the money he made from these dealings helped to establish the Bush family fortune and set up its political dynasty.

Remarkably, little of Bush’s dealings with Germany has received public scrutiny, partly because of the secret status of the documentation involving him. But now the multibillion dollar legal action for damages by two Holocaust survivors against the Bush family, and the imminent publication of three books on the subject are threatening to make Prescott Bush’s business history an uncomfortable issue for his grandson, George W, as he seeks re-election.

While there is no suggestion that Prescott Bush was sympathetic to the Nazi cause, the documents reveal that the firm he worked for, Brown Brothers Harriman (BBH), acted as a US base for the German industrialist, Fritz Thyssen, who helped finance Hitler in the 1930s before falling out with him at the end of the decade. The Guardian has seen evidence that shows Bush was the director of the New York-based Union Banking Corporation (UBC) that represented Thyssen’s US interests and he continued to work for the bank after America entered the war.

Group demands removal of Christmas display of three wise men, star, from Michigan school building

Newaygo Public Schools in Michigan could face legal action over a large display of the three wise men and a star on top of a district building.

The Michigan Association of Civil Rights Activists this week demanded the take-down of the Christmas display because they believe it violates the separation of church and state. The association has been involved in similar state cases in the past, the WZZM-TV reported.

What did residents say?

The flap is happening even though thousands of Newaygo residents want the display – a Christmas tradition for more than 40 years – to remain.

More than 2,000 residents have reportedly signed an online petition to keep the display in place.

“Here it’s a tradition,” said Stacie Johnson, one of the residents participating in Friday night’s Christmas walk. “You can see it coming from White Cloud.”

“Majority are saying leave it alone,” said Johnson.

The civil rights group, on the other hand says it violates separation of church and state.

“It clearly conveys the message of the Christian nativity,” MACRA’s Mitch Kahle told the news outlet.

He also said the organization got involved following a complaint.

“We were approached by a complainant from the area,” Kahle told the TV station.

The school district’s attorney is working with school leaders to issue a response.

“And they have promised to get back to us by Dec. 7,” Kahle said. “You have a public school that’s promoting the story of the Christian Nativity and that’s not permitted under the Constitution.”

What’s next?

If the display must come down, supporters hope to get permission to place it on a tall hill at the north end of the city. The site is on private property and is unlikely to face any sort of legal challenge, supporters told the TV station.

A real nightmare before Christmas: San Jose Christmas event includes Satanic tree display

Thieves targeted a Satanic group’s so-called Christmas tree in San Jose, California, this week by stealing some of its occult-related ornaments.

What is this?

“The tree targeted was decorated with pentagrams and other demonic symbols, its decorations sponsored by a Bay Area Satanic organization,” KPIX-TV reported.

The tree is one of more than 500 on display at the annual Christmas in the Park event.

KPIX’s report included comments that support the Satanic group, but it offered no Christian rebuttal of the blasphemous display.

“Some may wonder why a Satanic group would have a decorated tree at a holiday display like Christmas in the Park, but not the organizers of the event or the people who set up the tree,” the report states.

If anyone’s still wondering, it’s because devil-worshipers’ “religion” typically inverts Christian symbols and mocks Jesus Christ. That’s why occultists use inverted crosses, which are seen in the TV station’s video footage of the tree.

The TV station refers to the Christmas tree event as “South Bay’s biggest holiday celebration.”

“Bay Area Satanist Simone Chavoor and her friend Tabitha spent Wednesday afternoon sprucing up the tree that was recently robbed,” the report states. “The group decorated the tree on Black Friday, complete with an elaborate goat head as a tree topper.”

And why would their tree be a target?

“It could be anything from kids, to people who don’t agree with our viewpoint to people who are actually in agreement with us and think that our ornaments are cool,” said Chavoor. She told the TV station she is a “member of a local Satanic Temple as well as the independent group Satanic Bay Area, which sponsored this tree’s decorations.”
