If you are not sure who you are praying to but you know you want to be praying to the one true God, our Creator, then take these verses and apply them in your prayers - i.e. pray to God, your Heavenly Father, asking (or closing your prayer) "in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen", then it "SHALL" be done (shall = absolute positive).

>(Matthew 18:19 KJV)

>Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

>(Matthew 21:22 KJV)

>And all things, whatsoever ye shall ask in prayer, believing, ye shall receive.

Mix your prayers with believing!

>(Luke 11:9 KJV)

>And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

In the literal Greek this is really saying "keep on asking", "keep on seeking", "keep on knocking" - in other words don't stop until you have an answer to prayer.

>(John 14:13-14 KJV)

>And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

>If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do [it].

>(John 15:7 KJV)

>If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

>(John 16:23-24, 26 KJV)

>23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give [it] you.

>24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

>26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:

>(Psalms 119:105 KJV)

>Thy word [is] a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.

God's word really does show us the way!
