I saw Roger Waters perform The Wall in 2011. There were images beamed on to the blocks of the wall; Apple, SONY, Starbucks, etc. Roger was saying these are who control you, they are your enemies. Always been a Floyd fan and believe they were trying to expose the darkness in lieu of being part of it. There certainly is deeper meaning to the music. Just my take.
