When I was in elementary school, after 1st grade and being sent to the GP, there were only 5 of us in my gifted class….and it was just the 5 of us all day, every day learning stuff that was far beyond the capabilities of the other 300+ students. I liked interacting with them and our teacher was a good person; she was our only teacher for every subject though all the way until we finished 5th grade and got sent to middle schools.

Yes, I can recall when I was in kindergarten when the class would be sitting on the floor around our teacher while she read a book/story to us-when she needed to get up to use the restroom or do other "teacher" stuff, she would have me replace her and continue reading the story to the class. I still wonder how I knew how to read (well) before I had even been taught my ABC's in kindergarten…kek.

RARELY had to take any books home and NEVER had to study. so it because just like the rest of my school career, pay attention in class and memorize what i needed to know for the exams, and promptly forget it.
