I was searching the MSM earlier, trying to find ANY article that would focus on the what the French want BEYOND just gas tax relief. MSM only focuses on that, they take the AP article and reprint it.
I would love to hear both French and other Eurpopean anons who know what's really going on in Paris (and elsewhere in France).
If you can get direct quotes from anybody involved in the protests, we can place that info here, and it will be picked up by youtubers, etc., who lurk. Without quotes (or first hand reports–even better), the MSM can just gloss over everything and pretend not much is happening.
Is it safe (legal) to phone, email or text friends in France to ask what's going on? I realize you have hate speech codes in many countries that can be applied to just about anything the EU doesn't like–and it doesn't like very much!
But if it is safe and legal, that information would be welcome here.
We will always fight. We still have more free speech rights that many places, so we have to use that freedom to do whatever is possible. Just being here for one another is important, I think, because it can be a lonely business for many of us. Part of the fight is forming bonds that cannot be broken.

Yes, same here. All the same old stuff. It's not so hard finding alt-media within the country, but the farther you do, the harder it gets. This is pretty funny, though. The French PM can't attend his Climate Change meeting because of the riots in France. I guess Climate Change isn't quite as critical as people rioting in the streets.

We will need to be very flexible and ready for the unexpected. The news of a whistleblower in the Clinton Foundation scandal is a big deal; we will see what happens on Monday.
