I am a parent of 5, three of my children were asked if they wanted to be in this program. My children had friends in the "Gate" program. I think kids that are apart of these kinds a programs don't always have a choice, parents make that decision for the child. I asked my children if they understood the pro's and con's and they made a decision not to go into GATE.
