Nikola Tesla & George Scherff
A letter dated Oct 15, 1918 from Nikola Tesla to a George Scherff (Union Sulphur Co.) on the Allis-Chalmers deal. Allis-Chalmers offered a wide array of pyrometallurgic equipment, such as blast furnaces and converters for roasting, smelting, and refining; ore milling equipment, various kinds of crushers and pulverizers.
Letter also mentions Nikola's gas turbine offer to the govt for aerial and ship propulsion. In closing Tesla asked Scherff to foward a statement to a Mr. Foster to prepare a affidavit in a Lowenstein case. This may be connected to a man named Fritz Lowenstein. In the 1910s, Lowenstein established a radio company and sold transceivers, carrying nameplates of the Tesla patents involved, to the US Navy.

In more current times I found two patents with George Scherff named as an inventor. The applicant is L&P Property Management Company. L&P Property Management Company is cited under a Tesla patent.
