I moved to a town in Iowa, thought it would be nice, like Mayberry. It's every bit as polluted, invaded, corrupt as Chicago, where I was born.
We don't have trouble with illegals as much as refugees - they're here legally. Suck up all services and rarely show any respect.
There are some nice folks and it's a pleasure to help them acclimate. It is frightening for them to come here and learn the language.
Just wish more of them would try.
