Walt Whitman was a nationalist of the highest order; “The Americans of all nations at any time upon the earth have probably the fullest poetical nature. The United States themselves are essentially the greatest poem”

It was not a coincidence that the works of Whitman, Hawthorne, Emerson, Thoreau and Melville are intertwined with The Civil War. They were American Nationalists. They believed that The Lord had ordained America as mankind’s last chance to live in His righteous Glory.

This is America’s 2nd Civil War. And we Anons are it’s Whitman, Emerson and Melville (sad). This time Trump is Our Captain but he will be safe and American blood won’t soak the earth. And there will be another great religious awakening.
