Breaking: U.S. Forces In Al-Tanaf Strike Syrian Army Positions
On December 2, the US-led coalition launched several rockets from its base in the area of al-Tanaf near the Syrian-Iraqi border at positions of the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) in the al-Ghurab mount, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA).
“At 8:00 PM US-led coalition launched several rockets at some of our positions in the al-Ghurab mount south of the town of al-Sukhnah causing material loses only,” a military source told the SANA.
Syrian pro-government activists confirmed that positions of the SAA’s 21st Brigade were hit with 14 rockets. The rockets were reportedly launched from the U.S. M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) deployed at al-Tanaf base.
During the last few months, the US-led coalition forces conducted several training drills and fire missions with the HIMARS in the al-Tanaf base. The coalition claimed that it was training with its proxies to counter ISIS.
This dangerous attack will likely increase the tension between the Damascus government and the US-led coalition, that’s yet to comment on the incident.

1439 Syrians who had been displaced due to terrorist acts returned home via Nassib border crossing with Jordan over the past week. The returnees, numbered 4219 since the re-opening of the border crossing on October 15th, returned to Syria using temporary passage tickets that the Syrian embassy in Jordan provided to them, he added.

Syrian Army Foils 2 Militant Attacks In Northern Hama
On December 2, the Syrian Arab Army (SAA) foiled an attempt by radical militants to launch an attack on the Christian town of Mahardah in the northern Hama countryside, according to the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA). The state-run agency said that army units had targeted militants with heavy machine guns killing and injuring many of them.
Few hours later, another group of militants attempted to launch an attack on positions of the SAA around the town of Zlin, which is located northeast of Mahardah. However, the army’s reconnaissance units detected the militants and shelled them forcing them to withdraw back to their positions in the town al-Lataminah. As a result of these repeated violations, the Damascus government and its allies are reportedly considering the possibility of launching a limited military operation within the demilitarized zone. Earlier this week, Russia’s special presidential envoy to Syria, Alexander Lavrentiev, hinted that Russia would support such an operation.

Prominent ISIS Commander Involved In Killing Of Former U.S. Soldier Assassinated By Coalition In Central Syria
The US-led coalition announced on December 2 that it had eliminated Abu al-Umarayn, a prominent ISIS commander, along with other ISIS members in a precision strike in the Damascus desert.
“Al-Umarayn had given indications of posing an imminent threat to Coalition Forces and he was involved in the killing of American Citizen and former U.S. Army Ranger, Peter Kassig. He has been linked to and directly involved with executing several other prisoners as a senior ISIS member,” the US-led coalition said in an official statement.
According to FOX News, a unmanned combat air vehicle (UAV) of the US-led coalition conducted the precision strike which killed al-Umarayn and his group.
Peter Kassig was a former U.S. Army Ranger who began delivering humanitarian aid to areas held by the Syrian opposition in 2012. The 26-year-old aid worker was reportedly captured by ISIS fighters on October of 2013, as he was on his way to the governorate of Deir Ezzor to deliver food and medical supplies to refugees. A video of his execution was released by the terrorist group a year later.
The Damascus desert, where al-Umarayn was assassinated, is besieged by the Syrian Arab Army (SAA). This indicates that the US-led coalition had coordinated the operation with Damascus or Moscow.

According to Solomon, there were at least six different Deep State operatives who attempted to infiltrate and set up the Trump campaign during the 2016 election.
Recent documents also revealed the Obama deep state operatives contacted Trump campaign officials in Great Britain prior to the launch of any FBI investigation.

At least six people with long-established ties to the FBI or to U.S. and Western intelligence made entrees to key figures in the Trump business organization or his presidential campaign between March and October 2016;
Campaign figures were contacted by at least two Russian figures whose justification for being in the United States were rare law enforcement parole visas controlled by the U.S. Justice Department;
Intelligence or diplomatic figures connected to two of America’s closest allies, Britain and Australia, gathered intelligence or instigated contacts with Trump campaign figures during that same period;
Some of the conversations and contacts that were monitored occurred on foreign soil and resulted in the creation of transcripts;
Nearly all of the contacts involved the same overture — a discussion about possible political dirt or stolen emails harmful to Hillary Clinton, or unsolicited business in London or Moscow;
Several of the contacts occurred before the FBI formally launched a legally authorized probe into the Trump campaign and possible collusion on July 31, 2016.
The recipients of these overtures are all household names, thanks to the infamy of the now very public probe — Paul Manafort, Donald Trump Jr., Michael Cohen, Carter Page, George Papadopoulos, Michael Flynn, Sam Clovis and Roger Stone, to name a few.
Some of the instigators of the contacts have been acknowledged in public: Professor Stefan Halper, Russian businessman Hank Greenberg, former MI6 agent Christopher Steele and former FBI informer Felix Sater, who is “Individual 2” identified in the Cohen plea deal this week.

Microsoft vows to hand over all its technologies to ‘ethical & honorable’ US military
As big tech in the US faces increased opposition from its own employees over Pentagon contracts, the head of Microsoft Corporation appears to have decided to throw his weight behind the US military and to offer them full support.
Microsoft is “going to provide the US military with access to the best technology … all the technology we create. Full stop,” Brad Smith, the president of the tech giant, said at the Reagan National Defense Forum, held at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library in Simi Valley, California.
Smith also sought to explain his decision, saying his company actually wants “Silicon Valley to know just how ethical and honorable a tradition the military has.” He argued that the military should not be left out of global technological progress in the field of artificial intelligence, which is “of importance to everybody and not just young people who happen to live on the West Coast.”
However, he was still unable to totally ignore the ethical concerns expressed by Microsoft employees, amid the growing opposition to the tech giant’s cooperation with the Pentagon among the company’s own staff members.
“There is some angst” among “some” workforces, Smith admitted, adding that Microsoft would "engage to address the ethical issues that new technology is creating.” However, he did not say a word about Microsoft potentially changing its policies following the employees’ concerns.
