hey USfag, most countries in the world pay between $US5 and 7 or even more for a gallon of gasoline, and that is normal. Paying $2 is not normal, its subsidized by the rest of the world. So when you wonder how on earth your agriculture would operate at those levels, remember that everyone else ALREADY DOES!!!

The USA is a net importer of oil. It imports more than a third of the oil it uses every day. Yes, transport does cost $, but its less distance from SA to France than from SA to the USA.

That is subsidizing.
