I think you are right it is two frequencies combined and resonant to propagate that far. It would take a lot of focused energy just to create a 2.0 event. And then you have consider it is very focused as it only affected one or two of a range of sensors.

By the look of the wave, or combination wave: I would say several forms modulated to resonate frequencies with wave envelopes for propagation. Electro, Magnetic, and possibly quantum resonance as well (gravity or time might be problematic).

That might be the time component the on of of pulses of certain EM (or other) energy to cause a spiral wave form. That might make sense.
