United States financial markets will close Friday for the funeral of former President Ronald Reagan, who died Saturday at age 93.
During the last century, exchanges have usually closed for hours or the entire day for presidential burials. Most recently, markets closed on April 27, 1994, for Richard M. Nixon's funeral.
