The Rochester City Police Department has activated the New York State AMBER Alert and is investigating a child abduction that occurred on LaSalle Street, in Rochester, New York at about 7:00 PM on 12/1/2018.
The CHILD, JOANNA COATES is a White female, approximately 14 years old with brown hair and green eyes. She is approximately 5 feet 4 inches and weighs about 100 pounds. JOANNA was last seen wearing TIMBERLAND BOOTS, BLUE NIKE SHIRT, BLACK LEGGINGS.
The SUSPECT, ROBERT GONZALEZ is a Hispanic male, approximately 41 years old with black hair and brown eyes. He is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs about 185 pounds.
The SUSPECT was last seen traveling Southeast possibly heading for NEW YORK CITY.
THE CHILD WAS TAKEN UNDER CIRCUMSTANCES THAT LEAD POLICE TO BELIEVE THAT THEY ARE IN IMMINENT DANGER OF SERIOUS HARM AND OR DEATH.
