Bill and Hillary Clinton have postponed their paid speaking tour to pay their respects to the late 41st President of the United States Wednesday at the Washington National Cathedral.

The Clintons were expected to stop in Houston Tuesday but have delayed their 13-city tour after the death of 94-year-old former President George H.W. Bush Friday night.

'Bill and I will be traveling to Washington to pay our respects to President George H.W. Bush and his family at the funeral this week,' Hillary tweeted Monday. 'We were greatly looking forward to being in Houston for our event this week, and are excited to come back next year as soon as we find a date.'

The former president and first lady launched their tour in a Canadian hockey arena last Tuesday to an underwhelming crowd. Their next scheduled 'Evening with the Clintons' event is not until April 11 in New York City.

Bill Clinton shared heartfelt words following the passing of former President Bush, with perhaps none more sweet than his comments on the message Bush himself left for Clinton when he beat him out for the presidency in 1992.

It's become customary for the outgoing president to leave a letter for the successor, and in his manner of so doing, Bush showed 'he was an honorable, gracious and decent man,' Clinton wrote in an op-ed for the Washington Post on Saturday.

Though bitter opponents just months before in a heated battle for the presidency, the 41st Commander in Chief was able to set aside any hard feelings and focus at the task ahead of a much younger Clinton, then 46 to Bush's 68 years.

'Your success now is our country's success. I am rooting hard for you,' Bush wrote to close the letter, which was full of a sense of awe at the exclusive club both men would now belong to for life, and hope for Clinton's, and our country's, future.

During last week's engagement, the Clintons riffed on issues ranging form the U.S. elections to the Iran deal, the killing of Osama bin Laden, and the murder of Saudi dissident Khashoggi, and got a warm reception from the crowd as they jabbed at the Trump administration from north of the border.

'What makes this so troubling is how much commercial interest both the president's family and business and his son in law's family and business have with the kingdom,' said Hillary Clinton in one of a series of shots at President Trump, who defeated her in 2016.

In an unexpected twist, the Clintons, who suffered throughout 2016 for making millions on paid speeches, were interviewed by Canadian politician and diplomat Frank McKenna, the Deputy Chair TD Bank Group.

This is one of the stupidest things i've ever heard.

Without coal, oil, natural gas there would have not been any sort of technolgical advancement at all.

If people did not burn coal or oil or gas, then they all would have been burning wood instead.

Without all that fancy tech, this idiot could not have made millions from making movies( which used lots of cars, gas, etc)

WHAT A FUCKING DUMBASS HYPOCRITE.

And his most recent pic, he looks insane and haggard. ( gee is somebody not getting much sleep, kek)

He calls Trump crazy, yet what he said was totally insane, and lacks all logic. ( without oil and gas people could not have invented any green tech, or any tech)

Arnie calls Trump 'meshugge' - 'crazy' in Yiddish - for pulling out of Paris climate deal and says he'd like to go back like The Terminator to STOP all fossil fuel use

Ex-California governor speaks at the start of a U.N. climate conference in Poland to attack Trump for walking away from Paris accord on global warming

Called Trump 'meshugge' - Yiddish for 'crazy' - for abandoning the accord and said it has widespread support at local and state levels

Says he wishes he could travel back in time like the cyborg he played in 'The Terminator' so he could stop fossil fuels from being used

Arnold Schwarzenegger says he wishes he could travel back in time like the cyborg he played in 'The Terminator' so he could stop fossil fuels from being used.

'If we would've never started in that direction and used other technology, we'd be much better off,' the actor and former California governor said Monday at the start of a U.N. climate conference in Poland.

'The biggest evil is fossil fuels: it's coal, it's gasoline, it's the natural gas,' he told conference delegates.

Schwarzenegger also insisted that the United States was 'still in' an international accord to curb global warming despite U.S. President Donald Trump's decision to walk away from the agreement.

Calling Trump 'meshugge' - Yiddish for 'crazy' - for abandoning the accord, Schwarzenegger said the 2015 agreement has widespread support at the local and state levels even if the federal government isn't on board.

American states, cities, businesses and citizens can do a lot to curb global warming, and representatives from those arenas should be invited to next year's climate conference, he told the audience in Poland.

'And if you do that, I promise you: I'll be back,' he said in another reference to 'The Terminator.'

Schwarzenegger later told The Associated Press he has converted his signature Humvee trucks to run on hydrogen, electricity and biofuel and only allows himself to eat meat three days a week.

'I mean, maybe it tastes delicious, but I think we should think then and there before we eat about the world and about the pollution,' he said. 'So I discontinued eating meat four days a week. And eventually, maybe we'll go to seven days'
